Please join us for our first American tournament of the season on May 14 @ 6pm followed by Fish and chips from Marigolds. All members are welcome to either. Details of the tournament format are below – you do not need a partner to enter.

American Tournament rules
Round Robin Format:
Each player participates in multiple matches, playing with different partners in each round. You do need to have a partner to enter the tournament.
Doubles:
Teams are formed by pairing players of different abilities. Pairings will be selected on the night.
Timed Rounds:
Players play as many games as they can within 15 minutes.
Rotation:
Players move to different courts and new pairings after each round, ensuring everyone plays with a variety of partners.
Limited Scoring:
If a game reaches deuce, it’s decided by a sudden death point, and there’s no advantage scoring.
Fun and Social:
The format encourages interaction and is designed to be enjoyable for all participants, regardless of skill level.
Scoring and Play:
Each players scores are handed in at the end of each 15 minute round, and the player with the most games won at the end of the tournament will a prize.
