HLTC’s first social event of the year will be a wine tasting evening curated and provided by Bacchus on Friday 4th April from 7pm. Just before Christmas Head Coach Craig ran a fun junior tournament as well as the junior presentation. This was a team Red competition for our juniors aged between 8-18. The day was so much fun and the kids loved the format and competitive play. We also gave out our end of season awards, photos below.

We are delighted to have a number of our club’s coaches, members and volunteers mentioned at this years Cheshire LTA awards on Monday 9th December 2024. Terry Smith, was runner up in the Young Person of the Year award. Terry has been a member at HLTC since he was 6. He has competed in Hoylake

Members are reminded to park on tennis club side of Eddisbury road and not along the pavement on the opposite side of the road. Due consideration should be given to residents of Eddisbury road to enter and exit their driveways and access for all vehicles along the road.
The club AGM will be held in the clubhouse on Wednesday 20th November 2023 at 8pm. All members are welcome to come and hear about the progress the club has made in the last 12 months and future development projects. The agenda will be made available to all members via the website.
Sadly the rain stopped play for the seniors finals in September but the final games were played and we were able to award the finalists their trophies. Congratulations to: Andy Benc – mens singles winner Paolo Bafico – mens singles runner up Frank Birchall and Colin Banner – mens doubles winners Andy Benc and Paolo
Trees are shedding leaves and seeds which can be damaging to our court’s surfaces. Three drag mats, pictured below, have been purchased and will be located on Courts 2; 5 and 8 to be used before and after play to sweep debris from the courts. Please can all members take a few mins before play
