This year the Wirral league introduced a Seniors competition (over 55s’). Hoylake valiantly defeated Upton in the semifinals to earn their place in the final against Heswall. The Hoylake seniors team will be playing Heswall in the over 55’s category at 12.30 pm and Hoylake will play Birkenhead in the open category from 2.30 pm. Please go along and show your
The senior finalists will be playing Sunday 10th September 2023 for Mens and Ladies singles, doubles and mixed double titles. All members and visitors are welcome to watch and cheer them on. Congratulations to the Wirral men’s league team for winning the playoff match against Birkenhead on Saturday 2nd September at Bidston Tennis center. The mens team will now be promoted to Division 1 of the summer league.
We are once again looking for a treasurer to join our committee. The role has been greatly reduced as we are now taking membership payments through clubspark. It is essentially a bookkeeping role with a commitment of around 2 hours a week. You will be joining us at new phase of club redevelopment and innovation.
2 Hoylake teams will be playing in the Wirral league playoffs for a chance to be promoted. Hoylake 2 in the mixed league are playing for a chance to go into the 1st division and the Hoylake men’s team are also playing for promotion to the 1st division. The playoffs will be played at Bidston
