Volunteers are needed on Saturday 18th November 2023 from 8 am to help with a winter tidy up. The club are hiring a skip and we will need helpers to help carry items to the skip and general tidy up around the club, sheds and clubhouse. Tea and cake will be available for all volunteers.
There are still spaces for this year’s Christmas party held at Caldy Golf Club on Friday 1st December 2023. Tickets are £45 pp, payable by bank transfer to club bank account, which includes a 3 course meal and entertainment from an Elvis tribute act and DJ. There will be opportunity to celebrate the club’s successes

The 100 club draw took place on Sunday at the couples tournament. Phil Cutts won £375 and Steve Mercer won £125. The accumulator draw was won by Cath Saunders who wasn’t there so the prize money rolls over to the next draw! There are several numbers available to purchase for £9 per quarter or £36
Cheshire LTA are running several competitions over the coming months. If you are interested in playing please speak with club captain, Clair Miller or head coach Craig Longman. Senior Ladies Cheshire Shield The Senior ladies event is for players over 50 and will be played in 1 day as round robin event with 1 final.
Last Sunday we ran the annual couples tournament. The event is in memory of Viv Pennell. We had a stroke of luck with the weather…I guess Viv must of been smiling down on us. We had 16 mixed doubles couples, 11 genuine couples. Fortunately no marriage counselor was needed for the day! However there were

The public ballot for Wimbledon tickets closes on 10th October 2023. You must be an LTA Advantage member to enter this ballot. Advantage members will receive an email confirming when the ballot is open.
